Reasons to bid

This Breguet Type XX ‘Civilian version, Big Eye’ is definitely one of the most charismatic vintage chronographs you can find. As is often the case, the Breguet Type 20, the military version, gets most of the attention from the collector community, while the Type XX, its civilian version, deserves more attention, mainly because of the attractive Big Eye design with the large and therefore eye-catching 15-minute counter. In itself, such a counter is an undeniable advantage, if only because chronographs usually have 30-minute counters, much less often 45-minute counters, and few wrist chronographs offer a 15-minute counter. It’s a great watch with a classic military design, intended for the civilian market and very rare.
