Reasons to bid

The Pasha de Cartier Jour et Nuit Heure Sautante limited edition was launched in 1998. Although the dial bears the inscription ‘Cartier Paris’, it is not part of the CPCP collection (Collection Privee Cartier Paris), as this was only officially launched until later, but in the same year, 1998. The special feature of this watch is a double hour hand, decorated with the sun and the moon, which acts as a jumping function and only switches to a new hour when the previous one ends. This piece is attractive not only because of its high rarity, as the edition is limited to 20 pieces, but also because the design of the model and the complication module were created for Cartier by Svend Andersen, an independent watchmaker and co-founder of the AHCI Academy.
