Can I keep my collection in your office for maintenance?

For final estimation and preservation all the items will be carefully stored in our office to guarantee the unchanged condition until sale.

Is it possible to sell my collection as a whole?

Yes, however each item will still be evaluated and commissioned separately, and private sales would be recommended over a public auction.

Where and to whom will my collection be sold?

We would focus to allocate as many items as possible to the auctions for the sake of increase of our and your profits from the sale. However, we may as well attract direct buyers from our client base and other available resources.

How do I know that my collection is estimated fairly?

We stand for each price that we set for a lot. Our estimations are based on the real data and expertise that we are ready to support with documentation and explanation at any point required.

Who will be responsible for my collection management?

Our team of photographers, experts and sellers will work on your collection headed with a personal manager allocated.

How long does estimation and catalogue creation take?

Depending on the number of items it can take from several weeks to couple of months.

What is the price of the service? Is it commission based?

Catalogue creation and estimation is charged as a separate service in case sale is not implied. Its price varies depending on the number of items and their rarity and condition.
Otherwise, the evaluation is included in the complex and commission varies from item to item based on its value and rarity. The higher is the desirability of the item – the lower is the commission.

How long does a full cycle sale take?

If you are focused on the speed of results, we do our best to allocate most of the lots from your collection to the nearest auctions possible, which may take from 2 to 6 months.

What are the advantages of selling with Ineichen Zurich?

We successfully hold watch auctions since 1973, working hard on the quality of service, watch description and catalogue creation, which allows best returns on sale.
It is in our interest to sell your collection at highest price since we earn from the buyer commission from the hammer price.
Our managers closely work with sellers to make sure that the process is transparent and clear at all the stages.

No more buyer's premium! We have cancelled the buyer's premium, you pay only the Hammer price now! Read new Auction conditions
