Reasons to Bid

The Royal Oak Chronograph Ref. 26022OR embodies the combination of one of the most iconic sport-luxury wristwatch designs with a refined precious-metal execution and chronograph complication. Crafted in 18k rose gold, this version of the Royal Oak Chronograph pairs elegant materials with the universally recognized Royal Oak aesthetic. The case retains the classic Royal Oak octagonal bezel with eight polished hexagonal screws, prominent integrated-bracelet geometry, though here on leather strap for a dressier look, and robust yet refined proportions. The dial has a grey tone with the Grande Tapisserie guilloche pattern that is characteristic to the Royal Oak, enhanced by rose-gold applied hour markers and hands, especially complementing the rose gold case. Inside beats a self-winding chronograph movement Caliber 2385 which is a Frederic-Piguet-based Chronograph movement offering central chronograph seconds, 30-minute and 12-hour counters, and a date display. The movement bears the finishing and performance befitting Audemars Piguet’s haute horlogerie status even when hidden behind a solid gold caseback.
