The 40mm case is made from Rolex’s proprietary 904L stainless steel, robust and corrosion resistant. The fixed 24-hour bezel, an Explorer II signature design element, allows the wearer to track a second time zone or distinguish night from day, a function originally designed for spelunkers spending long periods underground.
