Reasons to bid

This Chronograph 33.3 Black Enamel ‘Triple Tachy’ could be described as mysterious. The chronograph pusher at 2 o’clock gives the impression that it is a single-pusher chronograph, as it is often referred to in various online resources, but this is a misnomer, as there is another chronograph pusher that sits coaxially on the crown. In addition to the fact that this pusher has a counter reset function, it also has a flyback function, which is almost unheard of on the market. The Omega caliber 33.3 CHRO is in fact a version of the Lémania caliber 15TL, the first chronograph movement from this manufacturer with a flyback function. Also worth mentioning in this lot is a very interesting black enamel dial with a triple tachymeter scale – such a scale was not uncommon in the 1930s and 1940s (this chronograph dates from those years), but here we find a beautiful design with markings in silver color.
